遥望西域，少年蓄势待发！GCGS“勇者无惧一带一路”单车传骑活动启动仪式成功举行
广东碧桂园学校高中部“一带一路”骑行课程，以世界为课堂，从西安到乌鲁木齐，历时12天，骑行古丝路，行程3000公里，骑行500公里。活动将研学和骑行相结合，引领学生以“一带一路”为时代背景，以重走“古丝绸之路”为主线开展跨学科自主探究，在真实情境中探索“我”与自我、与社会、与自然的关系。
该课程融合行动与冒险、服务与责任、跨界与合作等要素，立足深厚的历史文化， 结合社会发展热点，深入社会考察，开展跨学科研究性学习，让核心素养真正落地，培养德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人，成为具有中国灵魂、国际视野的终身学习者。

2023年，5月27日，广东碧桂园学校国际高中350多名学生在老师、家长、校友的陪同下，参加了“勇者不惧一带一路”单车传骑活动启动仪式。
他们聆听师长寄语，从校长们手中接过校友会赠送的传承头盔，为即将到来的骑行宣誓……走完简单却不乏隆重的仪式，标志着他们认可既定的目标，鼓起足够的勇气，向前迈出了最重要的一步。

Good afternoon!
在这个生机勃勃、放飞希望的初夏时节，我们在此隆重集会，举行国际高中“勇者不惧一带一路”单车传骑活动的启动仪式。
On this vibrant and hopeful early summers day, we gather here for the launch ceremony of our ‘One Belt One Road’ cycling trip on the Silk Road for Senior High students.
“一带一路”既是2000多年来中国先辈们连接世界的纽带，也是当前中国谋大格局的大智慧；既是人类文明的宝贵遗产，也是新时代大国崛起的新起点。广东碧桂园学校“一带一路”单车传骑活动，不仅是一项健康运动，培养健康的生活理念，更是在全球化的今天，站在历史和时代结合的视野下，“中国灵魂，国际视野”这一培养目标的现实呈现。
The Silk Road has been a vital connection between China and the world for over two thousand years, and is also a strategic development of China in the current era. It is not only a precious heritage of human civilization, but also a new starting point for the rise of a great power in this new day. The GCGS ‘One Belt One Road’ cycling trip is more than a form of exercise or a way to promote a healthy lifestyle. It is an opportunity to reflect on history and the course of globalization. It is a manifestation of our commitment to cultivate national talents with an international perspective.
在骑行活动中，同学们将会迎向黄沙，感受高原大漠，孤烟落日，用脚步丈量一寸寸土地，触摸千年文化延绵的气息，真切感受到“丝绸之路”的人文之美，观中国，进而形成中国观。
During the journey, we will witness the stunning desert sunset as we venture through the dunes. We will immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage while exploring the land. We will form a deeper understanding of our nation through careful observation along the way.
大家还会通过沿途“一带一路”地区各学科的实地探究学习，在融入了包括历史、文化、科学、社会、经济、政治等知识领域的多元化课程中，站在中国的土地看世界，站在世界的角度回望中国。
We will be engaged in interdisciplinary field trips that combine various fields of knowledge, including history, culture, science, society, economics and politics. Through these trips, we will gain a unique perspective on China and the world, seeing China through a global lens and gaining a deeper understanding of the world from a Chinese point of view.
同学们，历史是最好的老师，实践是最好的体验。每一次艰难的跋涉，都是磨练心智的修行。古丝路的历史发展告诉我们，无论相隔多远，只要我们勇敢迈出第一步。在漫长骑行的路上，必定会有很多的困难，但希望大家不会因为困难而放弃目标，因为勇气和毅力可以征服一切！
Dear students, history teaches us the best lessons. The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. Every challenging journey helps us grow and harness our minds. The history of the Silk Road has shown us that it is taking the first step that counts, no matter how far the destination may seem. Although we might face difficulties along the journey, let’s not be intimated or give up. With courage and determination, we can overcome anything.
行者无疆，“骑”乐无穷。“一带一路”单车传骑活动走过两届，近五百名师生已经实现了单车骑行，重走丝绸之路，他们创造了历史。2023年，我们将开创新的“骑迹”！希望三百五十多名追风少年，沿着前两届学长的骑行足迹，走出舒适圈，用骑行去丈量历史，去寻找远方的自我！
As cyclists , we can explore without any boundaries. Cycling is not only enjoyable, but also an adventure. We have organized two trips on the Silk Road in the past, with almost 500 students and teachers completing the journey and setting a new historical record. We are embarking on another journey in 2023, and I hope that you, as part of the 350 students, will follow in the footsteps of your predecessors. Step out of your comfort zone and discover your true self through the exploration of history on this trip.

我是IGG1-1班张馨庭的妈妈，今天很荣幸在“2023勇者不惧”一带一路单车传骑活动的启动仪式并作为家长代表发言。
I am Zhang Xinting's mother from class IGG1-1. Today, I am honored to speak as a parent representative at the launch ceremony of the "2023 Nothing Is Impossible With Courage" Belt and Road Cycling Legend event.
我今天发言的第一个主题词是“感谢”
首先感谢学校的领导，有这格局、气魄、能力和创新的精神，创设了勇者不惧一带一路单车传骑课程。
The first part of my speech today is about "Gratitude."
First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to the school leaders for their vision, courage, ability, and innovative spirit in creating the Belt and Road cycling activity.
我们由衷感谢各位教师。作为家长，我们深深感受到国际高中所有领导和老师们对活动的全情投入。他们的全身心奉献让我们见证了他们与孩子们紧密相连，共同完成整个课程的美好时刻即将到来。
We also sincerely appreciate all the teachers. As parents, we deeply feel the wholehearted dedication of the leaders and teachers from the International High School towards the activity. Their unwavering devotion has allowed us to witness the close connection between them and the students, and the approaching moment of joy as they complete the entire activity together.
感谢之前参加过这个活动的孩子们。一位同学分享道：“回想这一天的结束，我不禁为自己和所有坚持到底的同学真诚鼓掌。我们每个人都挑战了自己的极限，突破了耐力的极限，最终我们含着热泪相拥。这不仅仅是一次单纯的骑行，更是一次锤炼意志的考验！”这个活动会让我们亲眼见证了孩子们的成长，团队的成长，也会见证了大家的坚韧精神，勇往直前朝着既定目标前进。
We express our gratitude to the students who participated in this activity before. One student shared: "Reflecting on the conclusion of this day, I couldn't help but sincerely applaud myself and all my classmates who persevered until the end. Each one of us challenged our limits, pushed beyond our endurance, and in the end, we embraced each other with tears of warmth. This was not merely a simple bike ride, but a test of our willpower!" This activity allowed us to witness the growth of the students, the growth of the team and also the unwavering spirit of everyone as we courageously moved forward towards our set goals.

To all the students present here, you are currently experiencing the transition from adolescence to young adulthood. In the upcoming three years, each one of you will continue to explore who you can become, where you want to go, and make various choices. This stage is filled with challenges. Regardless of the outcome, as long as you make the effort and strive, you will undoubtedly write a chapter of youth without regrets.
这次骑行就是一次历练。同学们，要全身心的投入进去，好好地体验，经历既成长。
This cycling expedition serves as an opportunity for personal growth and experience. My dear students, I encourage you to wholeheartedly engage in it, embrace the journey, and cherish the transformative moments.

请同学们一定要注意安全，并严格按照学校的要求执行。我希望每位同学都能从学校的角度思考问题，为团队的整体安全做出努力。
Dear students, please pay close attention to safety and strictly follow the school's requirements. I hope that each student can think from the perspective of the school and make efforts for the overall safety of the team.
请大家保重身体。记得多喝水，好好休息，健康饮食。
Please take care of your health. Remember to drink plenty of water, get enough rest, and maintain a healthy diet.
不要忘记向家里报平安。爸爸妈妈知道你们正在成长，需要独立的空间，我们也在努力调整自己来适应你们成长的步伐。但无论你们怎样进步，我们时刻牵挂着你们。因此，我再次嘱咐大家，每天给家里打个电话，让我们知道你平安无事。如果能与我们分享你所见、所闻和所想，我们将非常愿意倾听。
Don't forget to let your family know that you are safe. we are aware that you are growing up and need independent space, and we are also making efforts to adapt to your pace of growth. No matter how much progress you make, we are always concerned about you. Therefore, I would like to remind everyone once again to call home every day and let us know that you are safe. If you can share what you have seen, heard, and thought with us,we will be more than willing to listen.
最后，祝愿活动圆满成功，我们将在七月迎接大家的凯旋归来。

当年校友会捐赠头盔的目的是希望大家能传承母校的教育理念和校友会的宗旨，毕业后加入校友会，与母校保持紧密联系。逐渐地就形成了传统，一方面表达对母校的感恩，一方面为师弟师妹的骑行保驾护航。同时，也寓意着同学们毕业后，还有校友会的师兄师姐们“罩”着！

行知课程
广东碧桂园学校在多年实践研究基础上，构建了包括“幼儿园乐行—小学研行—初中毅行—高中丝路骑行、中国周支教服务活动和国际青年成就奖”中小幼十五年一体化的“行知课程”体系，知行合一，体系完整。

边疆骑行
“一带一路”骑行课程目前已开展两届，共有约550名学生和70名教师参与并受益。2018年首届活动开展时引来了中央电视台的新闻报道，引起社会各界的强烈反响，并受到家长的广泛赞誉。2023届骑行活动，参与学生超过350人，人数最多，条件也最艰苦，培养学生的综合素质，是素质教育的一次创举。

“一带一路”骑行活动让学生走出传统课堂，走进大千世界，实现了“认知+情感+社交+身体”四位一体。这项活动借用古代丝绸之路的历史符号，践行国家“一带一路”的顶层倡仪，以骑行为载体，以探究为驱动， 批判性地欣赏人类文化、态度和信念的多样性。

领导力培养
活动着眼于学生领导力的培养，强化单车传骑活动中自治干部的管理职责，激发学生的领导潜能，强化团队意识和互助精神，积极落实目标管理和时间管理，培养学生坚韧乐观的心态和抵抗挫折的能力，为学生适应未来社会的学习和发展奠定品格和能力基础。

跨学科学习
活动以“爱国情怀”、“历史人文”、“地理自然”、“城乡文化”为主题，以“问题确立”、“资料归整”、“分组讨论”、“设计教学”、“探究实践”、“成果展示”、“心得撰写”为实施主轴，学以致用，培养学生创造性解决问题的能力，掌握研究、调查和分析技能。
